Calls made through the API are billed exactly like calls started from the dashboard:
  • Per connected minute, at your plan’s per-minute rate, in 30-second pulses. See telleo.ai/pricing.
  • Calls that do not connect (no_answer, busy, failed, canceled, expired) are not billed.
  • The outcome (summary, answers, rating, transcript) is included at no extra cost.
  • Test calls ("test": true) are free and work even before your first top-up.
  • API requests themselves are free.
Your balance is checked before each call. When it runs out, new calls get 402 insufficient_credits, and calls already queued wait until you top up. Usage and invoices are in the dashboard under billing.
